Become an Eco-Rep for your Res Hall If you're passionate about the environment, consider becoming an Eco-Rep! There can be multiple eco-reps per dorm. Help your dorm win the Eco-Challenge and participate in other fun events like Earth Day and Green Move-Out. No deadline





Become a Planet Forward Correspondant Planet Foward correspondants post stories and work with PF staff throughout the year to lead the conversation on solving the problems facing our planet.  Application for the 2017-2018 school year is now open Apply here!
Submit a story to Planet Forward You don't have to be a correspondant to submit a story! Tell your story, shoot a video, make an argument, get the word out and get involved.  No deadline

Attend the sustainable fashion exhibit at the GW Textile Museum The "Scraps" exhibit organized by the Cooper Hewitt is an interactive exhibit focusing on the reuse and recycling of fashion.  September 2, 2017 - January 7, 2018

Post on social media this week about a sustainable topic, talk to your roommates about recycling, or retweet something from the Office of Sustainability!

Get a conversation started about something related to sustainability, like: 

Did you know only 1 out of every 5 plastic water bottles is actually recycled? It can take over 1,000 years for a plastic bottle to biodegrade in a landfill, but takes less than a day to be fully recycled.
