Sustainable Investment Fund

In February of 2018, the GW Board of Trustees voted to create a $2 million environmentally-focused investment fund after hearing students' demands for a more sustainable investment portfolio. The announcement of the fund was well-recieved and exemplifies GW's progress and accomplishments in making sustainability a priority. Student SA leaders Peak Sen Chua, Logan Malik, and Sydney Nelson worked closely with officials to create the fund. The fund is a result of University-wide partnerships and collaboration between administrators and students. The $2 million investment is set to be official in March of 2018. The profits made from the investment fund will go towards the University's financial aid pool in an effort to further benefit students.
