Our Programs
Making the GW campuses, the surrounding community, and the world more sustainable through the university’s actions and the passion of its students, staff, and faculty is an ambitious aim. We invite all stakeholders to join the university on its sustainability journey. Learn more about our current programs:
Eco Equity Challenge
Our Eco-Equity Challenge Program aims to help undergraduate and graduate students connect with residents of Washington, D.C., to share their skills and find solutions to environmental and social justice issues.
Green Office Network
As the Office of Sustainability's primary program for engaging university employees, the Green Office Network is both a sustainability certification program and a coalition of aligned staff working to advance sustainability among their teams.
Eco-Reps
Eco-Reps are sustainability leaders who promote a culture of sustainability within the GW residence halls and community. Eco-Reps inform and engage students in activities that encourage a sustainable lifestyle.
