The GW Food Recovery Network focuses on eliminating food waste and hunger by collecting foods that would otherwise be wasted from GW-related and external events and restaurants. That food is donated to shelters or redistribution centers in order to feed people who are in need. Members of FRN undergo food safety training and work together bring the salvaged food to its final destination.
